Territory Horticulture takes pride in our guiding principles of quality, reliability and value. When our team is working with you, we always have a qualified horticulturalist or greenkeeper on board.
Our staff are also:

- In uniform so they are recognisable.
- Licensed in the use of weed and moss chemicals.
- Guided by quality control systems, including safe work procedures and environmental management policy.
- Supervised by an expert with a minimum Certificate III in Horticulture.
We invest heavily in building quality team members from the ground up – we employ apprentices and focus on professional development throughout their careers.

Mark Hynes
Owner and Business Manager
Certificate IV Turf Management
Mark has 20 years’ experience in the horticultural industry and 15 years’ experience in turf management.
Mark simply knows every facet of contract management, resource allocation and scheduling.
Mark is responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of the business, covering the supervision of up to 24 tradesmen, labourers and plant operators.
Mark’s background includes four years as the Head Gardener at the United States Embassy. He was responsible for floral displays including an extensive array of roses and cut flower gardens. He has been an irrigationist for 15 years including five years as Turf Manager at the Canberra Raiders training facilities, where he supervised and managed grounds staff involved in maintenance of ACTEWAGL Park and Northbourne Oval.
Benjamin Harding
Team Leader
Certificate III Horticulture Parks & Gardens
Working in the horticultural field is Ben’s passion, with ten years’ experience in the trade, seven being in a leadership position. He enjoys using sustainable environmental practices while meeting both customer and business requirements.
Ben has been a Team Leader and Head Gardener with Territory Horticulture for five years, shaping and moulding staff to enable them to independently problem solve and serve their customers and environments. In his role as team leader he creates and maintains a harmonious and respectful workplace culture.
In addition to his horticulture skills and experience, Ben also has 15 years of plumbing and irrigation experience.
Ben is hardworking with a strong attention to detail who can be relied upon to assist in the management of staff as well as significant contracts.
Matthew Coombes
Team Leader
Matthew demonstrates a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service, and is relied upon to assist managing the team.
His specific skills also include:

- forklift driving
- loader experience
- business management
- extensive supervisory experience
